GenLayer GEN

GenLayer is a decentralized Layer 2 blockchain where Intelligent Contracts natively invoke large language models, enabling on-chain applications that process natural language, access live web data, and make subjective judgments without external oracles or human arbiters. The GenLayer Chain is a zkStack rollup that settles to Ethereum, while the GenLayer Network (the overlayer) runs Optimistic Democracy consensus, in which validators using different LLMs vote on transaction outcomes and resolve disputes through a multi-round appeals process. GEN is the network's native token, used to pay gas fees, secure the network through staking, post appeal bonds, and participate in governance. The project targets developers building AI-native, web-connected applications such as prediction markets, dispute resolution platforms, and autonomous agent systems.
